The following connectors are already installed on the harness: Headlight switch, Headlight connectors, Fuel gauge connnector, Dimmer switch, Brake switch, Heater switch, Blower resistor, Wiper switch, Backup switch, Horn, Dash light sockets, Warning light sockets. Also includes: Alternator pigtail with connector installed, Harness for factory air, Two door jamb switches, High output alternator kit, 50 amp Maxi Fuse.

Mustang Harnesses

MAIN SECTION
Includes wiring for the car's instrumentation, radio, courtesy lights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, license plate light, backup lights and fuel gauge sending unit.

FORWARD SECTION
Includes wiring for the headlights, turn signals, parking lights, generator/alternator, regulator and horns.

ENGINE SECTION
Includes wiring for the starter, ignition, electric fan, heater fan, oil pressure sending unit and engine temperature sending unit.

Each kit also has provisions for factory instrumentation options, including either an alternator light or amperage meter, engine monitoring lights or gauges, a single turn signal indicator or separate left and right indicators, and an ammeter induction connection or direct connection.

Note: Some firewall modifications required.

This kit is a state-of-the-art fully assembled 14-circuit fuse block complete with 12 modern blade type micro fuses and 2 relays. Includes a preterminated a/c harness for Mustangs with factory air and an accessory relay for use with fog lights or fuel pump. This five section wiring harness feature pre-printed, color-coded, high-temperature TXL wire to make installation easy and super reliable.

UNDER DASH CIRCUITS
Wiper switch / wiper motor, Heater switch / blower motor, Ignition switch, Headlight switch, Dimmer switch, Hazard switch and Turn/brake switch (All preterminated).

INSTRUMENT PANEL
Oil gauge , Fuel gauge , Temp gauge, Factory ammeter, Dash lights, Turn signal lights and Highbeam lights (All preterminated).

ADDITIONAL CIRCUITS
Courtesy lights, Tach signal and Radio constant/ignition hot.

ENGINE SECTION
Headlights (terminated), Regulator with pigtail (terminated), Alternator, Starter solenoid, Oil and temp senders, Turn signals and Horn.

TAIL SECTION
Taillights, Turn signals/brake lights, Backup lights, Fuel sender, License plate, Trunk light and Dome light.

Universal Harnesses

If your car is not among the specific vehicle applications mentioned above, a proven universal kit is your best choice. These kits are designed to be used on a wide range of vehicle types. All of the kits come ready to install. The 12 circuit kits will cover most basic wiring needs.

If your vehicle will have additional electrical accessories such as power windows, door locks or other creature comforts, you will want the 18 circuit harness. Remember that you may want to install these additional items some time in the future, so now is the time to provide wiring by installing the 18 circuit harness. There is one other consideration that is important: Is your ignition switch on the steering column or in the dash? Use the designated "for GM steering column" for early style "keyed" steering columns from GM. All kits come with more than enough wire and terminals, etc. to do the job. You cut and route to suit your vehicle's needs.

12 Circuit Harnesses Include:
Air Conditioning, Heat, Brake Lights, Coil, Horn, Electric Fan, Emergency Flashers, Dash Instruments, Headlights, Radio (constant and ignition hot), Turn Signals, Wipers, Dome Light, Tail Lights, Third Brake Light, Charging, Electric Choke and Starting.

18 Circuit Harness Adds Circuits For These Accessories: Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Accessory Plug, Electric Fuel Pump, Backup Lights/Cruise Control, and Power Antenna.

This kit does NOT include the GM column mounted ignition switch plugs but includes the GM column mounted turn signal switch plugs and terminals.

NOTE: May require minor bulkhead modifications.
